Otjinuke Hunting Ranch is situated 70 km north east of Okahandja, 180 km from Windhoek International airport.The ranch is 6500 ha and part of the 400 000 ha Ombotozu conservancy. Fourteen species occur on the ranch. Cattle are still part of the farming activities. The veld tipe is thorn-bush savanna. Accommodation consists of a complete 3 bedroom house plus a new building with two ensuite-bedrooms and leisure room. Trophy hunting takes place from February to November and biltong-hunt only from June till July. Biltong prices are available on request. Self-catering prices also available on request. Bowhunt facilities are available. Shooting is normally done by stalking animals on foot or from hides. A professional hunting guide is available to accompany hunters. Typical dishes of Southern Africa are served as a brunch and a dinner/supper daily. Special needs can be catered for. |
